Envision
yourself basking in the warm sun, sipping lemonade on your own deck
chair, gazing up at the massive mountains of the Chattahoochee National
Forest, all while keeping watch over your kids as they play a game of Marco-polo in your very own Olympic-sized, R-shaped swimming pool. As
an owner at R-Ranch in the Mountains Resort, this is a daily activity
during the summer months. Approximately 45 cozy deck chairs line the
uniquely shaped pool with a tiered finish on the rounded area leading
up to a small grassy corner perfect for a leisurely nap in the sun.
Each of these chairs boast views that rival most views found anywhere
on property. The magnificent architecture of this lodge/pool area
is worthy of its own stares as well. Massive in design, telephone poles
with wrought iron poles act as fencing while the singular poles to the
side offer visual interest to the primarily horizontal building. The
pool area is drawn into this apex of vertical and horizontal, as its
gentle slopes and curving ripples provide contrast to the otherwise
clean lines.

Owners, Please refer to your Policy & Guidelines (section 3.6)
Section 3.6 - Legal Residence/Homesteading -
"No owner may establish R-Ranch as their legal residence nor may they claim homesteading rights. The reservation guidelines are formulated for weekend and short term use of the Ranch. The maximum allowable stay on the Ranch is any total of fourteen (14) consecutive nights. All persons must be absent from the R-Ranch for no less than three (3) consecutive nights between stays. This rule also applies to all owners regardless of the number of ownerships or any other program that may be in effect at the time (i.e., short and long term leasing programs)."
Five Springs Way RV Section
Enjoy Your RV in Peace
R-Ranch owners enjoy the most luxurious RV sites in the area. With approximately 150 sites-each one having several feet of living area surrounding the site, RVing at the Ranch is truly peaceful. The RV area is divided into six sections, each with their own individual characteristics including hook-ups, views, and pad-type.
Mountain Valley (RV 1) Mountain Valley is the first section in the RV area; this particular area has twenty sites with both gravel and concrete pads. This section has partial and full hookup with electric, sewer, and water capabilities. The two sides are separated by a large expanse of lush green grass, perfect for a pickup game of football, cloud watching or a night-time campfire. With Jarrard Creek wrapping around one side, Mountain Valley campers have an ideal setting: the soothing sounds of the gently rolling creek with views of the Chattahoochee Forest and plenty of space to play.
Willow Springs (RV 2) Willow Springs is named for the two towering willow trees that inhabit the section. The evenly graveled sites of this area with full hook up are woven in between the willows and the oaks, making it one of the more intricately landscaped areas. Spring and fall temperatures allow this section to erupt with color and beauty, yet remain functional with its central location to a bathhouse, the other RV sections, and main road.
Covered Bridge (RV 3) This heavily wooded section has all gravel sites with full hookups. Each site is nestled into this section named for the covered bridge entrance, each one looks as if it has been formed from the earth itself. These sites offer not only gorgeous mountain vistas; they also have incredible views of the green pastures-complete with galloping horses. Covered Bridge offers RV perfection for the nature lover.
Happy Hollow (RV 4) Named for its joyous tenants, Happy Hollow is home to many marshmallow roasts, pig roasts, and campfires. With thirty two full hook up gravel sites nestled in a grove of trees, this section is always a hot bed of ranch fun. In addition to all the activities, this section is surrounded by Jarrard Creek which is known to soothe all the senses.
Five Springs Way (RV 5) Located in the very back of the property nearest the Chattahoochee National Forest, this luxurious section is equipped with full hookup capabilities as well as cement pads. Paved roads escort you to each site in Five Springs Way and also to the large recreational area behind it. In the center of the section lies a gorgeous cedar bathhouse facility complete with laundry facilities and cable/modem access.

In the mood for a cabin?
Elegant Rusticity
Named for the expansive Rainbow Lake just down the hill, Rainbow Lake cabins offer owners a relaxing retreat after a long day of outdoor fun. Whether you prefer looking out over your private porch out onto the gently wind swept lake, the lush north Georgia terrain, or a few horses galloping down the hill; Rainbow Lake has it all.
These gorgeous mountain cabins are the epitome of mountain vacationing. Each cabin is intricately situated within the landscape, as if it sprung forth from the earth itself for your enjoyment. The stunning patina of years of joy shows in the wood and when combined with the magnificent tin roofs, offers evidence that man can indeed match the beauty found in nature.
Upon entry to one of these stunning cabins, you are immediately greeted by a golden glow that emanates from the very structure of the building. Varnished pine wood floors, ceilings, and walls offer a warm hue instantaneously soothing even to the most stressed. Directly to your left is a grand stair case leading up to a enchanting little sleeping loft, complete with two twin beds and a window overlooking the forest; and the balcony atop the stairs offers a great view of the goings on of your family.

Chapel Hill Cabin
Chapel Hill Cabins
The Chapel Hill area, named for the quaint chapel situated atop the hill overlooking the lodge, is an adventure in charm. These delightful A-frame cabins are scattered throughout the property; from the front pastures, over to the Chattahoochee National Forest and back up to the Chapel. Leasing opportunities, seclusion, unlimited stays, and exclusive chances for exploration make this one of the most versatile sections on property.
With two bathhouses situated in close proximity to all the cabins, what these cabins lack in amenities, they more than make up for in charm and comfort. Each appears to have risen from the earth itself, as they are intricately woven into the groves of mighty trees. With varying styles, from porches to decks and A-frames to step down roofs, you have the ability to design every aspect of your stay.
And design you will, if you choose to lease (or adopt) a cabin in Chapel Hill. Though the exteriors must maintain a uniform standard of appearance, many owners choose to renovate their cabins to suit their needs. Each cabin is equipped with the framework, roof, water, and electric; but above and beyond that is up to the owner and the leasing director. Intended to provide a more permanent location for owners who use the Ranch often, the lease a cabin program allows owners to leave their things in a cabin for 12 consecutive months!
Rental Cabins
Just in case our owners are in the mood for a little more luxury, we have three enormous rental cabins available. These cabins, though they vary in style and location, are among the most tranquil and charismatic accommodations in the region. Each cabin is equipped with a full kitchen and living area, not to mention a unique history.
